I have to do a decent amount of localization of Flash content into Arabic each year, so I'm always on the hunt for solutions to the problem of displaying RTL text in Flash. When I heard that Flash Player 10 is slated to have real support for bi-directional text I kind of quit searching around, so it was kind of unexpected when Ahmad made a comment on my blog and said there's a new version of Flaraby in the works.
He says you can test it here http://www.arabicode.com/flaraby/
And so I did. And if you might be working with RTL text in Flash between now and whenever Flash Player 10 goes public then you might (please) test on it some too.
The more options the better.

Yeah this has been a serious issue thats been neglected for a very long time... It's gonna be really cool to have support for more languages...

Thank you mike for posting about Flaraby3.
I've made a free edition of Flaraby3 (Flaraby3Lite) and it's now available for download.
The full edition will be insha'Allah available soon.
