here's the press release
The alliance will provide developers in North America a new way to create and commercialize rich mobile applications and content that deliver exceptional mobile experiences to millions of Verizon Wireless customers.Ok, so we have Wallop in Beta, which is going to allow Flash developers to create little widgets and sell them, we now have the ability to create little apps and sell them to the masses via their cell phones, we have a video site or some other Flash based site springing up every day it seems, we have Apollo getting ready to finally do what Central should have... shooo.. I'm glad I didn't listen to someone a couple of years ago when they said "you need to learn zzzzzzzz.. Flash may not be around much longer"
Flash Lite for BREW is currently available on four Get It Now-enabled Verizon Wireless handsets, including The V (LG VX9800), Motorola Razr V3c and Motorola V3m and Samsung SCH-a950.That should make my decision making a little easier.. I had been looking at the Chocolate and The V.
Adobe also announced the Flash Lite 2.1 Update to Flash Professional 8 and it's free (as in beer). Just go download it.

Flash Lite will be available for the Chocolate phone and (I think) just about every new BREW 3.0 phone, so there will be many Verizon phones supporting flash lite (and this could happen on Sprint and Alltell networks as well).
