I’ve been using AS2Doc for a long while to make MXPs of Help Panel docs for a lot of AS2 classes and just ran into a little error/problem. I hadn’t been on the as2doc web site in a long, long time since it was doing what I needed and working fine.
Here’s what I found..
Version 1.2.0 (upcoming)
Thursday, January 19, 2006
I’m not one to go changing my production habits “just because”, but if it’s not going to get updated then it’s time to start looking for an alternative. So what options are out there that will take AS2 classes and spit out nice Help Panel docs?
BLDoc looked great, but it was in beta and still is apparently..
NaturalDocs.. but it doesn’t use JavaDoc style comments and doesn’t output as a nice package for the Flash IDE / Help Panel..

Hi,
If you still need an AS2 doc tool, then try as2api - http://www.badgers-in-foil.co.uk/projects/as2api/ - which is open source.
Equally, if you've found a solution to the as2doc-not-working problem, please let me know, as I'm in the same infuriating boat.
Cheers
James
